"I am an easily distracted person. As an artist, I find peace in the photographic process. This allows me to focus on the here & now- the moment. I am not interested in documentation, but in expressively creating a sense of the environment. I prefer locales that are in the natural world. . Whether on a back road in the Flint Hills or watching the sun set over the ocean, I have a sense of freedom. Through my images I hope to convey the beauty, peace & healing that I feel in the natural world."
